MFT Sketch Challenge #253

This weeks Sketch Challenge over at MFT goes until Noon EST on Nov. 10th. I am getting my card done just in time. Here is the sketch.
And here is my Card.
I used balloons in place of the stars.  The Kraft cardstock was stamped with the New Bold Diagonal Stripe Background stamp using Kraft ink. The balloons were cut from Fresh Squeezed Chevron and Painted Prints Citrus Paper Packs using the Party Balloons Die-namics. The sentiment is stamped on a piece of white cardstock cut using the Stitched Fishtail Flags Die-namics and is from Happiest Birthday Wishes stamp set. The balloons all have a gold cord string attached and the balloons are popped up using foam tape.

Pumpkin Spice Latte and an MFT Color Challenge

It is Pumpkin Spice time of the year, and MFT has a new color Challenge.  The colors are Steel Blue, Hot Fudge, Lemon Chiffon and Persimmon. I used my Perk Up stamp set and Coffee Cup Die-namics for my sentiment and main image. I also used the Grid Background stamp on the Lemon Chiffon layer and other stamps from the Perk Up set to add designs to the cup and layers. There is subtle shimmer on the heart from my Wink of Stella pen and a few glitter dots scattered around.

MFT Design Superstar Challenge

I just received my MFT package full of dies, stamps and stencils!!  I was waiting to make this card!! I think it is Beautiful!!
I used the Etched flower background stamp, which I heat embossed with silver embossing powder on Canson watercolor paper.  Next I sprayed it with a generous amount of water and then sprinkled on Merlot Color Burst. The color was amazing!!  While waiting for this to dry I cut out the Stitched Cover-Up Companion - Vertical Die-namic out of  foiled cardstock.  Once dry I layered the silver cover-up over the watercolored Etched Flower and added a layered banner cut out of the Stitched Fishtail stacks Die-namics. The sentiment is from Happiest Birthday Wishes stamp set from MFT.

Stamp Nation

Have you heard of Stamp Nation??  I recently joined and have been inspired like never before!!

Catherine Pooler the Queen of enabling started this beautiful site a few years ago and it is full of videos, challenges, and photos. Catherine even makes SN only videos that are not on her you tube channel.  Recently she even came up with her own Stamp of Approval box full of amazing and inspiring stamps, dies, a stencil and of course sequins. This was a very limited box for the Friendship collection and I was waiting for the email to arrive with the link to order and am so excited I was able to get one!!!

I will post when it arrives and show you all what I create. In the meantime here are a few more cards.

This card was made with "Fintastic Friends" and is a shaker card
This is a total case of Catherine Pooler's Floating inlayed diecutting technique
Sorr this looks so blurry it is so pretty IRL, it is coated with glitter and did not photograph very well

I think this is my favorite card right now love the pool like tiles circle opening and shaker style for this card and of course the flip flops!!
